What it was?
One of the TV programs that made me laugh was a Hindi comedy serial titled as “Dekh Bhai Dekh”.
When did it happen?
This happened long back in my childhood days, I used to come back from school and watch this on television as there was no internet in those days.
Who was with you?
I watched along with my mom and my sister, all three of us used to sit together and watch the funny pranks and laughter created by both the characters: Shekhar Suman and Farida Jalal.
And explain why it made you laugh.
It made us laugh because the script they presented was very natural and homely, the jokes and fun parts were associated with the daily lives of people and the fun they have in their usual life. The fun and excitement it created was non-judgmental and did not hurt anyone. Moreover, in those days there weren’t many such serials or choices available to people so it just gathered a lot of audience within a short time.

As a child I loved watching cartoon shows and my all time favourite show was Tom and Jerry. This cartoon show featured a cat called Tom and Jerry, a mouse. They both lived in the same house owned by a fat lady. It was a hilarious show and I would wait for each new episode.
In what way did you find it humorous ?
Tom and Jerry were arch enemies and would keep fighting and chasing each other all over the house. While Tom, the cat used all kinds of tricks to gobble up Jerry the rat, but Jerry was very clever and always thwarted all attempts of Tom. However, despite all their fights they could not live without each other.
Explain why you still remember the programme
I think till date I have not watched anything as entertaining as the Tom and Jerry show. Even adults enjoy the show as much. One cannot get enough of these two characters as they playfully chase each other. There are other characters too which feature in certain episodes making the show more humorous, like the mother duck and her ducklings, or the little bird or the ferocious growly bulldog named Spike, of which Tom the cat is terrified.
