I have always been fond of gardening and ensuring greenery within the small apartment that I reside in. However, starting off was quite a challenge for me since I had no knowledge of plants and their care. I grew up watching one of my maternal aunts sowing seeds and potting plants whenever possible so I approached her to help me out. I must admit, I was mesmerized by her knowledge and zeal towards gardening. She is quite fond of greenery and loves being around nature, so she has always tried to create that in her vicinity.

She has a variety of plants including indoor as well as outdoor ones. She also has many flowering pots and in spring, her veranda looks majestic with all those bright colors along with the greens. It gets so beautiful that it attracts lots of birds and butterflies as well. I hope some day I will also have such a setup. Her love for gardening shows in how pretty and well-maintained her veranda is. It is admirable, really.

My brother-in-law is someone who enjoys growing plants and tending to his little garden. Despite his busy schedule, he always manages time for such activities.

He loves to grow flowers and collects seeds from several places including the nursery. During the spring season, his garden is a colourful delight, with all kinds of flowers like dahlias, petunias, roses, pansies and many more.

While the garden area is not very big with only a patch of green, the whole area is lined with flower pots of all sizes. The neatly placed pots with the gorgeous blooms brightens up the whole exterior of the house. Sometimes he also grows herbs and shrubs too.
