Describe a person who wears unusual clothes.

Clothes reflect an individual’s personality. They create an impression about how the person is. Funky clothes reflect cool personality whereas light colours reflect calmness and serenity. Styling is very important these days but some people go over the top when it comes to dressing up. One of my friend has just started her own clothing brand and since then her dressing style has gone unusual. So she dresses in a peculiar way where she wears joggers with formal shirts and a tie setting out new trends.
She was always a person who loved to go out of the way in every sense of the word and today she is doing the same. Her styling, her colour combinations are different and unique but a little unusual. The best part about her clothing style is that her joggers and ties are always matching. The shirt is of course of a different colour. Amongst the crowd she definitely stands out. Once we were together at a cafe and I was surprised to see how many people were fascinated by what she was wearing, the ‘new dressing couture’ as she calls it. She has actually set a new trend and going off beat always makes heads turn. Her clothing brand being unique and unusual is gaining popularity though specially amongst the teenagers

I recently joined a travel group online as I am a travel enthusiast and l am always in search of new information on food and exotic destinations. Other than online activities, this group also organises offline events. At these events, I often meet an individual who dresses very differently from others.
What kind of clothes he/she wears
While everybody else comes dressed in trendy or modern casual clothes, he is always attired in traditional clothes. He often wears a matching turban too. Since his clothes are always very different from others, people find it amusing and often laugh at his choice of clothes. He prefers colourful clothes and sometimes wears studs and bangles too.

In one of the events, I first started conversing with him. At first, I thought he dresses up in this manner to grab attention but later I understood his real reasons for doing so. According to him, our culture is intrinsically associated with our attire, the traditional ways of cooking food and the folk music. He believes that by avoiding western attire and dressing in traditional clothes he is doing his bit to keep the age-old traditions alive. He is aware and well-informed about the different materials, weaving techniques and about the regions each style is associated with. He is not only an interesting person on the outside but he has in depth knowledge about India’s food, clothes and music.

Thanks to social media, I think standing out has become tougher and hence quirk is valued a lot more now. In India, there are very few celebrities who go for unusual clothes but there’s one person almost everyone would think of. Her name is Uorfi Javed. She is an actress in the Hindi television industry. Though I’ve never watched any of her shows. I have seen her purely on social media in interviews and in videos that talk about her quirky outfits.
What kind of clothes he/she wears and explain why you consider his/her clothing choices weird
Uorfi has always been a bold and unapologetic woman, which I admire. She even changed her name from Urfi Javed to Uorfi Javed for numerology and unlike other celebrities, she didn’t hide it or be sly about it. While I resonate with a lot of her opinions in her interviews, her choice of clothes makes me wonder if standing out should be that extreme. She tends to wear clothes that practically make zero sense to me. Hence I find her fashion quite unusual most of the time. I have seen her wear a dress made of broken glass pieces. Her fashion definitely turns heads but I wonder how comfortable such clothing would be. I admire her confidence but it is just a case of – I don’t agree with it but I get it. As long as she likes it and is comfortable, it’s all good I guess. But it is still quite unusual to me.
