I have always been fascinated by aquatic life and would definitely like to know more about this branch of biology.
Why do you find it interesting?
I developed an interest in this subject when I went for my first dive. As we plunged into the sea and started going deeper I was mesmerized by the myriad colours. Corals, sea plants, and fish of all sizes and colors lent an otherworldly feeling. I was amazed by the vastness of the ocean and the life that exists underneath it. Later we were shown a short movie on how fish and other species communicate underwater at the ocean museum. This further fuelled a curiosity in me to know more about sea-life.
How do you plan to pursue it ?
There are various courses on sea life conducted by various museums and even universities. I hope to take it up in future to learn more about underwater life, it’s importance to ecology and how species on the verge of extinction can be protected.

I feel it’s really helpful as it expands one’s horizon and awareness about the movements that take place in the universe, the way day and night are formed, the way it affects the seasons, also in so many medical treatments like radiations, and environmental monitoring.
