Who this person is?
Teamwork is important in every aspect of life. It teaches individuals to work together in an effective and efficient manner so that they can achieve what they want. I remember a friend of mine as a phenomenal team player. He always looked out for his team mates.

When you worked together?
I worked with him on a group project in college. We had strict deadlines to meet and everyone was extremely stressed as it was an important task.

What he/she did in the team?
He was a graphic designer and was in the same team as me. We had created multiple layouts and designs together. The designs were very creative as they were an amalgamation of different abstract thoughts that we had in our mind.

Why do you think he/she was a great team player?
He always guided me in things that I was not familiar with. Along with that, the basic essence of teamwork is to share the responsibility and the credits as well. And he pushed me to be better and get out of my comfort zone without thinking of his own profits.

Who was the person?
When I was in the seventh grade, my friend wanted to participate in athletics. She was always good at sprinting and was eager to take part in the inter-school sporting event.

What was the activity?
Those who wanted to be a part of the school team had to first qualify. They had to go through several heat rounds. My friend increased her practice time and each morning she would get up at 5 and hit the club nearby. At school she gave a stiff competition to the others and made through the rounds. She was finally selected for two events, a 100-metre sprint and relay race. In the team event she not only tried to improve her speed but she also helped her other mates.

In what way was she helpful ?
She was ecstatic when she walked into the stadium as a part of the school team. She won the second position in the hundred metre sprint but it was the relay race where she proved that she always believes in team work. During the race one other girl had fallen back due to which our school team was lagging behind. My friend was the last one to whom the baton was passed. She did not let it deter her and put in her best and our team won the second position due to her efforts.

A person with great people skill is my friend Mallika, She is my childhood friend and more like a sister to me.

When did you work together?

We worked together on a social campaign to create awareness about environmental protection and growing more trees in one of the rural places of my country.

What did he/she do on the team?

She led the team and proved herself to be the best leader, she made plans and the way they should be implemented so that the project could be successful and people living in the society would gain a lot of insights. She arranged to get plants from the nursery so that everyone could easily manage their responsibilities.

Why do you think he/she was a great team player?

I feel she had extremely good leadership qualities as she was able to delegate the work equally among all, manage to understand the issues raised by the team members, provide them solutions to overcome problems and be active in work with an optimistic approach. Her intellectual and analytical skills were praiseworthy and people loved working with her.
