Travelling is something I enjoy and it is a stress buster for me. To travel is to learn about new things in life. I was going to travel to Amritsar with my cousins. This trip ended up being canceled due to some issues on the state border roads
Why was it important for you?
This trip was important to me as it was the first time I was going to travel without my parents’ supervision and was a great time to spend with my siblings and cousins who are almost the same age as me.
Why was it delayed?
This trip was delayed because there were violent farmers protests going on in the state of Punjab and the roads around the borders were blocked. Since it was unsafe to travel through these roads, we decided to delay the trip
What happened in the end?
In the end we managed to go on the trip a few weeks later than it was originally planned. It was a great experience. I had a gala time with my cousins and it was full of happy memories.
I look up to such experiences with great enthusiasm.

Last year, I planned to visit my native place, the holy city of Amritsar but to my fate, I had a very busy schedule and was just not able to make it whenever I planned.
Why was it important for you?
It was important for me to visit as I had some important legal documents kept in my house and I had to submit the same in court to get my property papers renewed.
Why was it delayed?
Although each time I planned I was very serious about my trip, but every time I was also getting engaged in something that tended to be even more important at that particular time. I was getting anxious day by day and was just not able to create a balance between my work and my own personal goals. This frustrating feeling also took a toll on my health and I was so depressed in those days.
What happened in the end?
In the end, I finally went to my reporting manager and discussed the issue I was facing and the importance of the legal document, to my luck, he was kind and gave me off for 3 days on the weekend so I could go and finish my work. I was so happy to visit my place, finish up with my work, and catch up with my old friends and family members, also, I relished all the tasty food items of my city that normally water my mouth when I think of them.

Last month I was eagerly looking forward to a trip with my friends. It was after a long gap that I had planned this trip with my school friends.
Where were you scheduled to go
We had planned a five-day trip to Goa. The train was scheduled to depart from New Delhi and we were all supposed to assemble at the station. I had already packed the day before and started early in order to reach on time.
Why were you delayed
Our train was at 4.55 pm and I started from home at around 2 pm in a cab. At first we covered more than half of the distance in proper time with ample time to spare. However, as we neared the station and was just about 3 kms away, we were met with an unprecedented traffic jam. At first I thought the traffic lights are not working, however soon it was clear there must be some other reason for the bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Soon my driver and I got down to find out the reason for the jam-packed traffic. That’s when we saw the huge procession ahead. It was a religious congregation celebrating their special day. The procession moved at a very slow pace and it was impossible to bypass it.
I had no other option but to call my friends to leave without me. Till the last minute they waited for me but I could not reach on time
