She organized the party in her lawn area as the garden and lawn were joined and on the whole, the area was massive enough to cater to all the guests and also our Disco jockey ground. The greenery surrounding the area added infinite stars to the celebration and mesmerized everyone’s heart.

I wore the ethnic dress of our culture, it’s a Punjabi suit, red in color with hand-carved embroidery on it. Also, I customised my footwear according to the dress and my hair style had the embroidered lace which added elegance to the entire attire. I wore this dress as it was a big- day in my sister’s life and we wanted to celebrate it by adding a lot of auspiciousness. For this reason, we made it compulsory for all the guests to dress traditionally as we had also performed a lot of religious activities. All these also added to the status of our family and we were extremely proud of my sister’s achievement.

When was it?

I like to wear different types of clothes at different occasions. I normally like to wear traditional dresses, but sometimes I prefer western styles too. I wore my favorite long brown dress. It has cut sleeves and is very comfortable to wear. Well, comfort is the reason I like this dress.

I wore this dress because my mother sent it for me from India specially for my convocation. She was also excited for this day and it was a kind of gift from her and full of blessings. Therefore, I decided to wear this dress.

This dress made my day. I got so many compliments from my friends. They said this dress suits me so well and I should wear it more often. For that time, it is on my favorite list.
