Intro
Surprises often make us feel special, and I can proudly say that I’ve had one of the best surprises of my life.
What it was?
It was when my father gifted me a laptop after I got my first division in class 12th. The laptop was a sleek, silver model with 8GB RAM, and it was a dream come true for me. I had always admired such laptops, but I never expected to own one.
Who did this?
My father had promised me a laptop if I got a first division in class 12th and he kept his word. I was truly grateful to him for not only his generosity but also for his trust in me to accomplish the goal.
How you found out about it and what you did do?
I found out about the laptop when I came home after the results were announced. My father had it wrapped in a box and kept it in the living room. When I opened the box, I was in shock and couldn’t believe that he had kept his promise. I hugged my father and thanked him for his unconditional love and support.
Why it surprised you and made you happy?
I was not only surprised but also very happy. I was grateful to my father for his trust and belief in me. It was a moment of pride for me and I was overjoyed to receive such a valuable gift.

To this day, the laptop is a reminder of my father’s immense love and trust. It is a source of motivation for me to strive for excellence in everything I do.

I was always passionate about cricket since a very young age. I used to play cricket with my friends in the neighborhood and it was something I really enjoyed. I was always very eager to learn more and develop my skills in the game.
What it was?
What surprised me greatly was that my elder brother gifted me a cricket kit. It was a complete kit with a bat, pads, helmet, and ball. All of it was of very good quality. I was really taken aback by this gesture of his.
Who did this?
My elder brother was the one who gifted me the cricket kit. He had observed my passion and interest in the game and had decided to gift me something that would help me further my cricketing skills. I was very grateful to him and was thankful for his gesture.
How you found out about it and what you did do?
I was studying in my room when my brother came in and told me to come downstairs and take a look at what he had for me. I was really excited and I rushed downstairs to find out what it was. To my surprise, he had bought me a complete cricket kit. I was extremely excited and thanked him for his thoughtful gift.
Why it surprised you and made you happy?
What surprised me the most was that even though he was always busy with his work, he had taken the time to get me something that he knew would make me happy. His gesture was so thoughtful and loving that it made me really happy. I was also very thankful that he was so supportive of my passion and that he wanted to help me further my skills.
