Who this person is?

I have a lot of friends that I made during my childhood but one of my closest friends is many through many years is Prathmesh. Prathmesh is the son of a family friend and is around the same age as me, so we’ve grown up very close.

How you became friends with this person?

We’ve known each other for many years, but I suppose it was in school when we first became proper friends. Being from the same part of town, Prathmesh and I were in the same class, and soon enough we started spending a lot of time together. Going to and from school, taking part in sports activities, and more often than not, getting into mischief.

What kinds of things do you like to do with this person?

Though Pratham and I largely sticked together in school, we would often meet up with other neighborhood friends for various activities such as playing cricket, flying kites, building makeshift go-karts from old bicycle parts, and the usual childhood stuff. We also often went to each other’s homes to watch movies or just hang out.

Explain why you like him/her.

Prathmesh is one of the most jovial people I know. His outgoing personality often brings in people very quickly and this has helped me broaden my social circle. He was always so motivating in – pushing me to do my best in academics, sports or anything else – and never failed to remind me to keep smiling no matter what.

Conclusion

I can confidently say at this point that Prathmesh and I have been close since school. But even now, we keep in touch despite changes in our lives. We both do our own respective things but we quickly catch up whenever time permits. It’s funny to think that we still remember the childhood stories that we shared and we often laugh about them when we meet. Our friendship has stood the test of time and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else in this world.
