What is it?
With more services available on various online platforms, I decided to hire monthly service to clean my kitchen chimney.
How do you implement it?
Earlier I would spend hours cleaning it as the oil deposits inside the filters were very tough to clean. I had to buy special cleaning agents, gloves and different types of scrubbers to remove the deposits.
However, after I took the subscription, the cleaning personnel comes down every month. I have taken an annual subscription and they offer twelve services, one every month.

My chimney looks clean and I now do not have to spend hours cleaning the chimney. It has saved a lot of time and effort.

Life is changing for the better these days. Improvements and innovations have taken over the world and for the good of one and all. One such change or improvement I have implemented in my life is using grocery applications like Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart and so on. In the past, I was a person who used to go out everyday to fetch these daily items, but since the time I got a hang of these new applications, my life changed only for the better.
I use these applications and get whatever things I want in my day to day life, that too at good prices.
How difficult is it?
Well, there is nothing difficult about using these grocery applications. The only thing is one should be tech savvy and have a good internet connection. Just a single click, and daily requirements of a household are fulfilled.

It saves a lot of time as I do not have to go anywhere and everything comes at my doorstep. It saves my energy and efforts which I can utilize elsewhere in doing something productive.

What is it?
My workplace is hardly 10 minutes away from my house yet for some reason, it’d take around 20 to 25 minutes for me to reach home. I realized that the reason behind this was my choice of vehicle as conveyance to work. Choosing to go by an electric rickshaw would mean trying to find a rickshaw and then arguing over the fares and the limited speed capacity of it. Hence, I decided to switch to a bike instead.
How difficult is it and how do you implement it?
Bikes are easily available on cab hailing applications as well these days. So it is not quite difficult to carry out this solution. The benefit is that the fares are already decided by the application so no time goes in fare disputes. Moreover, bikes are faster so I also save time on the route.

This change has made me feel quite ecstatic because now I have started feeling that I have become efficient and am not wasting time by covering a 10-minute route in 25 minutes. The added advantage for me is also the fact that bikes are my preferred vehicles since always so I get to save time while enjoying my ride.

What happened and when it happened?
Nowadays almost everyone is glued to their smartphones, making it seem like an extension of our bodies. I used to detest this about everyone around me and even considered becoming old-school and switching back to a smaller cell phone with just the calling feature. However, in March 2024, I got a reality check and realized how important a smartphone can be. I was out with my friends when a client from work called me up for an extremely urgent work. Even after multiple attempts to explain to them how I couldn’t possibly do it as I was out of my house, they were insistent due to the emergency they were facing.
How important the cellphone/smartphone was
It was my smartphone that ultimately saved their day and mine surely. I quickly downloaded an application on my phone after searching for the best video editor. I edited a video for my client and then quickly sent it across. That day my smartphone helped me gain some internal appreciation as well from my work team.

This all led me to realize that if I had shifted to a cell phone, my boss would have thought that I wasn’t capable of handling emergencies and my client would have also lost out on presenting well for their company executives. Since then, I’ve become a bit more grateful for this technology.
