Sample Answer :
Science was among my favourite subjects in school and I enjoyed my time in the school laboratories, specially the biology lab. I was intrigued and fascinated by the fake human skeleton in our biology lab. Moreover, I enjoyed observing different things under the microscope. My biology teacher used to give us fun experiments and tried to make all the sessions as well as the lectures interesting.
During one experiment, I was asked to observe yoghurt under the microscope and I was shocked to see millions of bacteria inside the yoghurt. Even though such bacteria are considered good for our body, I felt a little uneasy. It was still fun to perform such activities. I also enjoyed other science classes like physics and chemistry, and rarely missed a session.
I believe that the entire world owes its development to science. Science is a blessing that not only makes our life easy but also provides solutions to many problems. While it is an extensive discipline, I am mainly interested in medicines and vaccines as they have defeated gruesome diseases and saved countless lives.
We were also able to control the coronavirus pandemic because of effective vaccinations. Vaccinations have prevented several diseases and pandemics in the past as well. It is only because of appropriate medicines and vaccinations that our world is free of horrible illnesses like Ebola, Polio, Chicken Pox et cetera.
I think that everyone should have basic knowledge about medicines and vaccinations. Children must be vaccinated according to the medical guidelines. Awareness can help built a strong and a healthy society. It is also important to be careful with the dosage in order to avoid any side effects.
I read a lot about medicine related discoveries but I never take any medicine without consulting my doctor. So, I would say that biology is the area of science that has fascinated me from a very young age. I will continue to read more about this intriguing discipline.
