What holiday it was?

Usually, I love to spend my holidays at some fun making place but this time my grand mother planned a trip to one of the hill station quite far from our residence. It was in between the mountains of Kashmir Valley with an amazing picturesque view.

Who you were with?

We were 10 members in all, my cousins, maternal aunt, parents and my grand parents. All of us went together and had an awesome stay at the guest house.

What you did?

As soon as we reached over there, we were welcomed by following the local rituals of that place. The trip was very well planned and included so many activities to relax and refresh. The mornings started with meditation and yoga, followed by some mindful games and karaoke. After this, we usually enjoyed the etables and also visited lot of local sightseeing places like temples, two museums and also a zoo which had an exclusive variety of birds.

And explain why it was unusual.

This holiday was quiet unusual as I had never been to such a peaceful place ever before, it completely gave me different world away from the entire hustle and bustle of a city life. I could rejuvenate myself and think so much new. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the trip and look forward for many more such trips.

Who this person is & where you had the conversation?

We have daily conversations with different people on various topics. We remember certain conversations, as they leave an impact on us. I remember one such conversation with my grandmother that I had regarding money management. We had this conversation during lockdown when we were having dinner.

What you talked about?

The conversation started from how everything was on a hault during lockdown, and money had to be used wisely. My grandmother told me how important it is to save from what we have. Saving should be a habit whether the amount is small or big, one should develop a habit of saving as you never know when the need arrives. Life is a roller coaster and we do not know when it takes a turn. When we save, in the need of hour, we can optimally utilise it.

And explain how you felt about the experience.

The experience was an eye opener for me, as I realised that if I develop the habit of saving while I am young, it will prove to be helpful once I grow up. It is for our own good if we have ample amount of savings at our end to be used at the right time or when the need arrives.
