Dear Mr. Brown,
I am writing this letter to convey sincere apologies for my absence from the ‘sales’ meet’ held recently. I certainly understand the significance of holding the sales meet every year, and I have always been a keen enthusiast to be a part of it. But due to some unforeseen circumstances I was unable to be present at the event.
Actually, I woke up in order to get ready for the meet, but I was shocked to find out that there was a burglary attempted at our house the night before. We were sleeping in the next room under a noisy air-conditioner, unaware of the incident. As the antiques, laptop and some cash were stolen, so had to lodge an FIR (First Investigation Report). The formalities and the legalities took time, and my presence at home was indispensable.
As I missed on presenting my sales data during the meet, I would like to send you the power point presentation I had prepared for the financial year 2023-2024. Also, it would be better if we can connect through a zoom call so that I can explain you all the figures and the projections first-hand.
Looking forward for a positive response.
Yours faithfully
Nick Jonas
