Introduction
There are a lot o people who work for the well–being of society. It is always good to be
selfless and contribute towards the welfare of one and all.
Who this person is?
Even I know one such person who is Neerja. She is my friend from 9th grade who does a lot
of charitable work.
How did you know him/her?
I know her since my 9th Grade as we were in the same class and that is how we became
friends. We started bonding with each other more when we were in 10th grade and since then we have become good friends and even our families know each other.
What type of work does he/she ?
Neerja has been associated with Goonj since a long time now. Every year she donates
clothes, stationary items and food products to the children there and the one’s in need. Her
grandfather was associated with Goonj and seeing him, she was very much into social
service and contributions to the society.
And explain why you think he/she contributes to the society?
She has been actively involved in donating things to the needy people and what is better than helping the one’s in need and that is how she contributes to the society as well. She even inspired me and last year even I joined hands with her in this charitable work.
