I had to reach my sister’s wedding destination as the wedding was planned for the eleventh hour.
Why do you have to do this in a hurry?
I had so much work pending, especially the wedding shopping, my household, and also planning the entire wedding rituals as I am the elder one in the family and there was no one else to help her.
How well you did do this?
I think together my sister and me, did quite well as we just called our family and a few of our friends, arranged the requisites to welcome everyone and organized the wedding function with full zeal and zest.

It was quite tiring overall, but the excitement of having her wedded to the person she always wanted to, made me fall for her and be with her at this crucial stage of life. The love, fun, and enjoyment we had added to the most unforgettable memories of our lives. I feel the wedding in a hurry was quite chaotic as we had to make multiple arrangements in a short time and also see that all the coming guests were happy, and the wedding time should have a feeling of blessings and positivity all around. These mixed emotions made our day and finally, people appreciated our hospitality.

What was the occasion?
Last weekend I had invited a few guests to my place. For the longest time I had been planning this dinner and wanted everything to be perfect. The dinner was scheduled for Saturday night, so I had ample time to get everything right.
Why did you have to hurry ?
The day before on Friday I had already procured the required ingredients and prepared the marination for the dishes to be cooked the next day. On Saturday morning I first prepared the fish and later got to cooking the chicken as the marination was already prepared. I left the chicken to simmer on the stove and started preparing the side dishes and salads and later went to bathe. I completely forgot that I had left the chicken on the stove ! Much later when I could smell something burning, I rushed to the kitchen. By then the chicken had completely burnt and it was supposed to be the main dish !
How did you solve it ?
I again had to rush to the market to get the chicken and all the ingredients. By the time I got back, it was already 5pm. I quickly cleaned the chicken and hurriedly prepared the marination and again got about preparing the dish. I also had to set the table and get the starters going, get ready and set before 7pm. Thankfully my guests were a bit late so I somehow managed to get everything in order before they arrived.
