Who this person is?
People have different hobbies or interests. Some of them like reading books or novels, others like listening to music, playing outdoor or indoor games and many more. Well, my brother loves reading and he reads a lot of books and novels.
How you knew him/her?
I have known him since our childhood. From his grade 5 at the school, he is passionate about reading. In school, he used to sit in the library for a minimum of 2 hours and used to read different books.
What he/she likes to read?
He mostly read books and novels related to history and culture. He has quite a good interest in the past and he always stays excited to share what he reads.

I think he likes reading because he gets more knowledge from the books and he finds it exciting.

Who is the person?
My neighbour’s son has always been an avid reader. Even as a kid he loved books and on all his birthdays, family members and all his friends gifted him books. Often he would be lost in books for hours together.
What kinds of books does he/she read ?
As a kid his shelves used to be filled with fairy tales, folk tales, Noddy books and Diary of the Whimpy Kid. Later, he started reading detective stories, crime thrillers and books on wars. On most weekends and holidays he would be busy reading books. While growing up he did have quite a few friends but books seemed to interest him more.
Is there any particular genre of book that he/she is interested in ?
As a young adult he started gravitating more towards serious subjects and he picked up more books on military history. Sometimes for hours together he would relate episodes from world history which was both fascinating and interesting. These days he is doing masters in International Relations and his love for books continues.

Who this person is?
Whenever I think of habits that I hope to inculcate in my life, reading tops the list. It’s such an excellent habit to not just improve language but also evolve one’s perspectives. A perfect example of this is a dear friend of mine, Hafsa Khan.
How did you know him/her?
Hafsa and I have been friends for the last 10 years. We met in college. Funnily enough, we were pursuing English Literature together. Somehow I ended up steering far away from books, while she has grown to be a completely mature person, partly because of the literature she has read over the years.
What does he/she like to read?
She mostly reads fiction novels that are focused around the trope of never giving up in life. I am certain that she likes to read such literature because it keeps her motivated and brings positivity that can be hard to maintain in life at times.

Over the years, we have all complimented her on how her exposure to reading has made her a better person. Seeing that, I feel, has pushed her to read even more because she focuses on evolving as a human being. Reading has helped her do that the most. Hence, I wish to learn from her and start my reading journey soon.
