Where is it and when did you visit it ?

Bali is a wonderful place in south-east Asia and I visited this place two years back. I stayed there for 10 days and I found the place quiet, serene with exceptional scenic beauty.

What is the place like

Bali has a tropical climate and is endowed with natural beauty. The south of the city has some amazing beaches and the north has volcanic mountains and waterfalls. Since the staple diet of most of the people of this area is rice, one can find a large number of rice fields. Many of these places have eating joints and individuals and families can enjoy a lavish spread sitting amongst the greenery.

Explain why you would recommend this place to others

Bali is a peaceful area and the natives of this area are friendly and are always ready to help the tourists. The hotels and homestays are extremely clean and affordable. Due to this advantage, many tourists visiting Bali often stay for months. There is a lot to see and explore, and many people who were working remotely during the pandemic, chose Bali as their destination.

Where is it? & What the place is like?

I am a person who always likes to visit new places, spend some time there and recommend those places to others. So, there are a lot of places where I have visited and I want to recommend to others. A place I have been to is Chandigarh. It is in Punjab. I visited Chandigarh for my marriage a few months ago, as my husband belonged to that place. I liked the place because it was very clean and green, without any pollution. Also, as compared to my city Delhi it was less crowded. I went there with my family and after all the rituals of marriage, I spent a few weeks at my husband’s place.

When you visited there & Who  you went there with?

I went there with my family and we visited there sometime before my marriage. We explored a few markets also there and found the collection to be pretty vast and good.

And explain why you would recommend this place to others

The city is very well-maintained, all the roads are clear, and moreover, everyone there obeys traffic rules. The city is very beautiful, we went to Sukhna lake, Rock garden and malls. I can recommend this place to others if they like quiet and pollution free places to live in.

Where is it, when you visited there, and who you went there with?

I seldom enjoy travelling. I prefer staying in my city and my comfort zone. Yet back in 2019, I was strong-armed by my friends to visit Bir in Himachal Pradesh with them for a quick weekend getaway.

What the place is like

As soon as we reached that place, I was overcome by a sense of tranquility that I had been craving all my life living in my urban city. It was not commercialized like most other places that people travel to. The people from Bir were not just benefiting from tourism but also had local businesses and a thriving life without being reliant on tourism. All its natural beauty was intact, no adulteration at all. The food was great, the paragliding available there was fun, but most importantly, every kind of person could easily enjoy the town.

And explain why you would recommend this place to others

That’s why I feel that anyone who’d like to leave behind their city life for quieter and calmer scenery and lifestyle, they should definitely relocate to Bir. The people there are warm and so welcoming that you’d feel right at home there. The food is great. The views are great. I think if someone struggles to balance their work life and personal life, they’d find it natural and effortless to do that in Bir. Even I’d love to live there someday if I can.
