I am a big-time food enthusiast so the most exciting thing for me is the variety of food that Delhi has to offer. There is a plethora of cuisines and they’re accessible for people from all economic classes.
I think it is a great place to live but I speak from a lot of bias. I love the historical culture Delhi holds, be it in the food or the monuments itself. The only issue nowadays is the pollution so it’s a win some, lose some scenario I feel.
No, I don’t have many friends because I prefer sticking with the few people that have been with me through the worst of times and the best of times.
My sister and I are like siamese twins even though there’s a 9-year age gap between us. I share everything with her and respect and value her as an individual as well as a sister.
I prefer friends over my family even though I am quite attached to my family as well. That is purely because my friends are my chosen family and they have been with me in phases where I was probably the most annoying and difficult person, yet they decided to stand by me.

I am quite fond of watching cricket matches, majorly because it’s an integral part of my family’s leisure and passion. So, growing up I was surrounded by enthusiasm and immense rigour on match days. That’s why now as an adult it is one of the most significant dreams of my life to be able to watch a match from the stadium, hopefully the T20 Men’s Cricket World Cup this year. It is held every two years and this year Sri Lanka and India are co-hosting the tournament so it will be plausible for me to attend the event. I have been a fan of Virat Kohli and Shubhman Gill for the longest time but they won’t be playing in this world cup. Hence, it is all the more exciting for me now because I am curious to see which player will make his mark. I have my eye on Abhishek Sharma and anticipate he’d make headlines in this tournament. I hope I’ll be able to witness India play in the finals with a strong team like Australia or New Zealand this year and win the World Cup.
In my country, cricket is definitely the most popular throughout the nation despite hockey being the national sport.
I think such events are important for mainly two reasons. First is that sports need to be encouraged just as much as any academic subject because they are crucial indicators of talent and skill. Second, these events act as a national celebration as well. Some sports events become so significant that they bring the entire nation together to celebrate victory and even mourn losses. So, I think it facilitates unity amongst citizens as well.
I play badminton frequently to keep fit and also because it’s a sport I have played since I was a child. I would love to play it every day but due to work I do not get the time to do that. I also play mental games like Sudoku a lot to keep my brain challenged.
–– Sometimes follow-up questions can also be based on the answer you give in your cue card. For example, here the cue card answer mentioned the T20 World Cup so the examiner could ask a question related to that in the follow up.
Example: Does everyone enjoy the T20 Men’s World Cup in your country?
I think so because cricket is a popular sport in our nation and is watched by at least one in every four people. World cups especially are quite exciting because it’s on a larger scale and the win would mean a lot more.
