what the difficulties were about it
and explain how you felt about it.
This question actually has me giggling a bit because it reminds me of the time where I had to use my imagination like never before. I visited my cousin last month and when he and his wife were at work, their daughter asked me to explain where the sun goes at night. I was stumped at that moment because I couldn’t understand how to explain something like that to a toddler. I knew I’ll have to make up some story because the real answer won’t be comprehensible for her. I cooked up a tale about how the sun and the moon are Earth’s friends and the sun comes to play with the Earth in the morning while the moon comes at night. Therefore, the sun decides to go and play with other friends at that time. Coming up with an interesting story like this made me feel silly but also stressed. I realized how difficult it can be to tackle questions by children. Later I told my cousin about it and we all chuckled and I got slightly mocked as well, but it was all fun.
I think children use their imagination the most and quite frequently. They do it when they see new things and imagine what the purpose of those objects could be. They use their imagination during their play time and engage their mind through conversations with imaginary friends or imaginary scenarios.
Yes, teachers should encourage children to do that because without imagination, there will be no mental development in an artistic or creative sense for a child.
No, I don’t think so. I think scientists stick to facts and avoid using figments of imagination in their jobs.
Any artistic job would require high imagination skills like painting or scriptwriting. Even teachers and marketing teams need to utilize their imagination for out-of-the-box approaches to typical problems for better results.
I am pretty certain that books require a greater degree of imagination because a reader needs to imagine everything that is mentioned by the writer. Even the voice modulations for certain dialogues, the scenic setups. The entire foreground has to be imagined well to make the reading experience delightful.
