What the job is?
There are many jobs these days that look fascinating and lucrative in terms of the monetary gains they provide, however with the stress they follow, one is sure to fall into the pit of dissatisfying feelings. One of the jobs I would not like to do is of an operation executive in any of the EdTech organisations.
How do you know about it?
I came to know about this job during the corona pandemic times when the world economy was declining and many of us were unemployed. My friend was associated with an online EdTech firm and she recommended me this job.
Whether it is an easy or difficult job?
Initially, it looked very simple as the KRA was well defined in the offer letter that I had received, and being a teacher, I thought it would be like a left-hand game, but to my fate, it was nothing less than a nightmare as the entire organization was completely unorganized and the work culture was a big mess.
And explain why you would not like to do it ?
The job does give proper title and the reputation one could attract, however, the responsibility it brings with it was really huge. The operations executive was answerable for all the issues that students faced in the online portal and also the management in case the students were technically challenged. The executive was sole point of contact for a long list of students so there was a huge imbalance between personal and professional life, impacting the social and emotional feelings of an individual.

There are different kinds of jobs in the world today.
Some are interesting and we happily want to do them. It depends on the individuals as to what kinds of jobs they prefer.
There is one such job that I have heard of, but do not want to do it, and that is the job of a news reader. My friend used to work in ‘Times of India’ and she told me how cumbersome that job was.
Whether it is an easy or difficult job?
She told me how they get the news on the spot and that spontaneity is the key. She has to be alert all the time and it requires full concentration and not even a single piece of information should be missed. It is a cumbersome process.
And explain why you would not like to do it?
The reason for me choosing this job as the one I would not like to do is that it requires a lot of patience and vigilance and I am a person who gets distracted easily. I need a quiet environment to concentrate completely. For me to give the best results, I need a thorough understanding of the same.

There are different kinds of people in the world. Some are introverts, whereas others are extroverts or ambiverts. People interact as per their convenience. I know one such person who loves to communicate with other people, and share his experiences.
He is my husband’s friend Varun and by profession he is a DJ.
What does he/she mostly talk about?
He loves to talk about his different travelling experiences where he plays techno music with famous artists. He tells us about the crowd and the way they vibe with their playlist. When we listen to him, we realise how this industry is completely different and the behaviour of people is also variable as per the crowd they are in.
Why do you think this person is so talkative?
I feel Varun is talkative because of the work he does. Profession affects a person’s behaviour and lifestyle. Being a DJ, he meets a lot of people and interacts with them weekly, so he has to be outgoing and talkative.
