Where the city is?
Every city in India is beautifully designed and structured. When it comes to talking about a beautiful city, India has many of them. My personal favourite is Chandigarh city, which is one of the most stunning cities. It is also called ‘The beautiful city’.
How you knew the city?&What buildings the city has?
I keep visiting Chandigarh as one of my first cousin resides there. The city has been beautifully designed by a French architect who is known for his designs. It is known for its cleanliness and other buildings. The city has beautifully designed buildings with carefully maintained infrastructure and abundant green spaces.
The city is divided into various sectors and cleanliness is their top priority. Residential and commercial zones are there.
What it is famous for?&And explain why you think this city is beautiful.
The famous Sukhna lake, which is one of the largest man – made lake is situated here, and Chandigarh is also famous for its Rock garden. It is also a house to Asia’s largest Rose Garden. The masterpieces here are designed in an intricate manner.
The city is known for its beauty as it stands as a perfect example of a beautifully designed and well – planned city.

Where the city is?
I belong to one of the most beautiful countries in the world, which is a nature’s den and that is India. Out of all the spectacular cities we have, I would like to talk about the most picturesque of them that is Kashmir.
How did you know the city?
I had heard about Kashmir a number of times in the news, read about it in our social science books and many other sources. But little did I know that it is so beautiful when my sister recommended it to me for a must- go city to be at least once in a lifetime.
What buildings the city has?
So basically Kashmir is situated in the northern part of India, captured by hills all over. Thus, there are no skyscrapers or multi-storey houses like we have in metropolitan cities. Unlike them it has small cottages specially made of wood with slanting roofs because, it snows heavily there.
What is it famous for?
It is well known for its scenic beauty. Apart from this Kashmiri apples, kidney beans, winter capes, dry-fruits, traditional jewelry carpets and silverware are the major attractions.

There are numerous reasons why I am in awe of this particular place. The hills, valleys and flowers make us feel as if we are covered with nature’s blanket. People there are so simple and grounded.

Where is the city?
There are many cities around the World worth visiting. However, one of my favourite cities is Udaipur, in Rajasthan, which is also known as the city of lakes. This beautiful city is adorned with numerous manicured gardens, forts and sparkling lakes.
How do you know the city?
Rajasthan has always been a favoured destination with most tourists owing to its rich tradition and grandeur. I too wanted to explore this state and last year visited some of the cities including Udaipur.
What buildings the city has?
While the city has a number of famous spots, the Lake Palace in the middle of Lake Pichola is something unique. In recent years it has been converted to a five-star hotel but one can always take a boat ride around it. Other prominent buildings include, The City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Jag Mandir, Sajjangarh Fort and many more.
What it is famous for?
Udaipur is famous for its palaces, forts and elaborate gardens. The city is dotted with gardens and lakes and look amazing when the lights are switched on in the evening. The view of Lake Pichola and the palace from the Sajjangarh Biological Park is breathtaking in the evening.

Since I love travelling I have visited many places around the World but Udaipur holds a special place. The city with its colourful gardens, lakes and opulent palaces at every nook and corner looks mesmerizing at all hours of the day.
