Goal setting is vital in life in order to achieve success in life. As a child one is unaware about the importance of goals and ways to fulfil those goals. While both my parents encouraged me to prioritise my goals, it was my math tutor who made me realise how crucial goal setting is.
In what way he/she helped you ?
My math tutor first set targets to be achieved in the subject itself. He ensured that I complete all my homework on time and score well in all unit tests. This gave me the confidence and the motivation to practice more. Later when I went up to the boards I already understood the significance of goals and the immense satisfaction one gets on fulfilling it.
What goals you have managed to achieve ?
In my later years too, I often took the advice of my tutor whenever I had a tough goal to achieve. He always counselled me to take the right path and achieve my goals despite adverse conditions. Due to his continued guidance I managed to tackle all the major exams well.

I feel lucky to be surrounded by people who encourage me to fulfil my dreams. The encouragement pushes me to make myself better. My younger sister always encourages me to exercise. She would remind me every day to not miss my own time. She herself tries to exercise with me if she has a day off. It helps us rejuvenate.
In what way he/she helped you ?
As I mentioned, she encouraged me to do my exercise on a regular basis and not skip it. Exercise plays an important role in my life. It has helped me overcome various hormonal issues. It helps in regulating my metabolism well.
What goals you have managed to achieve ?
My sister would wake me up early in the morning so that I would not miss my session. She has recently bought a mat for me so that I could easily grip while practicing. A reminder from her keeps pushing me.
This little encouragement from her has helped me overcome my hormonal balance. I feel better with my fight and flight modes now. It has helped me rejuvenate my energy back. I feel very energised the whole day.
