Who is the person
While we all try to buy goods at a bargain price however, my uncle is more frugal in nature and takes great pains to look for goods and services with low prices. Although he does not essentially compromise on the quality but often travels a considerable distance to get products at the lowest possible price.
In what ways he/she tries to save money
On most days he sits down to scan the paper and find out the prices of essential goods and superstores offering the best price. Often he travels miles to access the said store to avail the discount. While shopping for clothes he scans the entire floor to get the best buy. I remember once he had bought two pieces of clothes and had taken more than three hours. He made sure that he scanned all the stores offering the highest discounts at that time !
Do you think it is a good habit
While being economical is a good practice however, there might be occasions when one has to supress one’s desires or at times compromise on the quality. Often it is demanding on the time spent to locate such goods or services and is an added pressure.

It is not a difficult task for me, because I need to just describe my father. He is a person who likes to do affordable shopping, and according to him avoid ‘worthless spending’.
What this person likes to buy?
Despite the fact that he has grown old, he is in his late forties, and also he likes to wear jeans. I usually mock him that you have grown old, your hair is white, you should start wearing traditional Indian clothes. He gets agitated and slams me by saying that ‘you might have grown old but as young I was.’ I will buy and wear jeans. He likes to buy casual outfits, like polo t-shirts and shorts.
Where does this person like to buy things? & And explain why this person likes cheap goods.
He is not a frequent shopper, he usually goes out shopping every 5-6 months, his favorite place to buy clothes is his friend’s shop, he has been going there since 10-12 years, and I also buy my clothes from there. The shop is very big and the collection is superb. He likes to go there because he gets what I call a ‘relationship discount.’ He argues that even a 1000 rupee shirt is enough to cover your body and spending 5000 rupees is not a good deal. He values money, that is the crux of his character.

This person would have to be my friend. I first met him in my first year of college, he was in my major and we had a few classes together so we became fast friends, it didn’t take long for me to find out how much of a miser he was in a positive way. There is no memory I have of him ever paying full price at any place we went to together.
What does this person like to buy?
There is no particular item that he prefers to buy, he doesn’t even like to buy things he is just really addicted to bargaining, he did work in sales so maybe he had picked up some negotiation skills from there, but he was good at this.
Where does this person like to buy things?
He prefers to go to busy areas with a large number of shops because due to the busy environment, it makes it easy for him to play his tricks on the shopkeepers. I like going to buy things with him because I save a lot, treating him for his service is cheaper than paying full price.
