For any city to be counted among the best cities in the nation or the world, cleanliness is a must. Therefore, the job that people working in the municipality division do, I think is the most important.
What kinds of challenges do people face while doing this job
While the job is divided into segments, such as, sanitation and cleanliness, healthcare, landscaping, city planning etc, I find those who work to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation most challenging. Personnel working in this division are faced with numerous challenges each day. Keeping roads clean, taking care of proper drainage and sewerage, and disposing garbage from each locality of each province.
And explain why you think this job is useful to the society.
This kind of work is considered menial but most people fail to realise how important their role is in our everyday life. For example, I remember last summer the workers in the sanitation department went on a strike. There was chaos all around as there was no proper garbage disposal, and the stench from the piled up garbage was unbearable. Therefore, it is important to value their work and they should be adequately compensated.

Jobs are an essential part of today’s society. I think my job of teaching young children is useful to society, as I believe teachers are developing the future of the nation. Teaching can be considered a useful job for society because teachers are eventually working to help the children grow, learn and develop.
What types of people do this job?
Teaching jobs require a lot of patience so people who are calm and composed in nature indulge in this job. Interaction is also an essential part of this job.

Through the teaching, children will get an education and can be educated to become a professional worker, such as an engineer, doctor, nurs,e etc. So, teachers at all levels and grades are useful as they help in enhancing the knowledge of the children to develop our society.

What job is it and how do you know about this job?
While every job is significant to every individual, there are some jobs that standout in my mind merely because of how important they can be to an entire community or society. For instance, the job of a city cleaner in a city like mine which is quite polluted. As a child I never knew there were people who did this as their job and went about the city, cleaning the trash.
What types of people do this job?
I think there are people assigned by the government of the state to ensure cleanliness. However, I have mostly seen people from backward financial backgrounds getting hired to do such roles.
And explain why you think this job is useful to society?
It is somewhat sad to me to see that the people who we entrust to keep our cities clean, are also those whom we often look at with condescension. This job is probably one of the most important duties to be done. When the citizens of a nation aren’t taking that responsibility, it is only with the work of such workers that we get to be in a cleaner city, not surrounded by foul-smelling trash corners everywhere. Without these jobs, our cities would soon become trash grounds. That can only lead to a society that falls ill more often and isn’t progressing. Hence, city cleaners are definitely important in every society.
