One of the cool photos that I remember was long back when my family had gathered for a get-together at my granny’s place, it is one moment I think I will cherish for life and will never forget.
Who is there in the picture?
My entire maternal and paternal family is part of the photo, all my aunts look so young in the picture and my elder nephew was just born. The entire family was actually gathered for his naming ceremony.
What place is it taken?
My grandmother lived in a rural village that was entirely green and pollution-free. All of us just waited for a chance to visit her since we had our school and college in the city and had to live there on permanent basis.
Why do you remember this photograph?
I think I remember this photo because of the nostalgia it carries, I usually get emotional when I see my uncles and aunts as I am not able to meet them on a regular basis, the kind of love they have nurtured in me is beyond words, I think I am too attached with my cousins and today’s busy life has parted all of us in different corners of the world, the photo also signifies the beautiful bond we all have with each other. For this reason, I have framed the photo in my room so that I can always feel that we are all one and always connected.

A cool photo of my family that I am greatly fond of is a picture of us on one of our vacations.
When was it taken?
The picture was taken in January of 2023 when we were traveling. At the end of the evening when we were returning home we suddenly decided to get it clicked.
Who is there in the picture?
The picture has my whole family. Both my parents, my younger sister, my younger brother and I. we are all standing together.
What place is it taken?
The picture was taken in a place near Mussoorie and Landour which is a very serene and calm place and is famous for the bake house that is there. We were standing in front of the popular market in the town next to a beautiful tree and the sunset sky in the back.
Why do you remember this photograph?
I am especially fond of this picture as the sky looks beautiful, all 5 of us have genuine smiles on our faces and the picture is a fond memory of how well our day had been spent in the calm of Landour. And since the picture was a spontaneous idea, it also shows the happiness on our faces

Last year my family and I were visiting the Andaman Islands. Before leaving I had already prepared our itinerary and the activities we planned to do over there. One activity that I was eager to do was the whale watching experience.
What makes it a cool photo ?
On that day we woke up very early as the wild dolphins are mostly visible in the sea in the early hours. As we approached the ticket office, along with our tickets we were given a coupon for free pictures. As we entered the main there was blue back screen where the photographer clicked our pictures.
Why is this a special photograph?
Once we completed our boat ride to the sea, watched the wild dolphins among the huge waves and were back, the photographs were ready. One particular picture took our breath away. They had cleverly edited the picture and we all appeared to be in the blue sea playing with dolphins. Probably this is one of the coolest picture of my family. I have framed and put it up on our personal photo wall. Every time I look at it I am reminded of the happy times we spent together.
