When and where it happened?

Changes are an integral part of our lives. Changes are a part and parcel in everyone’s lives these days.

Upgrading and updating to the latest is always good. I also experienced a change in my life some six months back when I started meditating and exercising. I was told about this by my uncle who himself did this and experienced positivity in his life because of this.

What happened& how you felt about it?

Being fit and healthy is an important aspect of our lives. A healthy mind dwells inside a healthy body. I started exercising and meditating regularly and within a month I could see that something changed and it was a positive change. I became more patient and relaxed.

My mind was calm, and this induced positivity into my life. Positivity is essential for living life to the fullest and keeping fit and healthy is of utmost importance these days.

When and where it happened ?

Change is an integral part of life. However, most of us resist change and so did I, till I faced a health scare. I was pursuing my college degree in electronics and telecommunication and I had to spend long hours to complete my practical work and project. The hectic schedule was taking a toll on my health. It was then that my friends suggested that I take up Yoga.

What happened ?

At first I thought that it would be a total waste of time. However, within a few short months my outlook changed. Taking up yoga was possibly the best decision of my life. It not only relaxed me but I understood the importance of mind-body balance.

How you felt about it ?

Before I started my yoga session I would often be stressed, sleep deprived and cranky. Due to sleep deprivation and anxiety I would feel tired and restless. With yoga I am no longer as restless or frustrated as before. I find happiness in the most trivial things and value every moment of my life.

And explain how it changed your life ?

This change redefined my outlook on life and I now realise that little things matter much more than we realise. Often we are so focussed on bigger goals and our failures that we neglect the slight moments of happiness. Also I have not stopped at only exercising, I have become more mindful of my diet as well.

Introduction
I personally believe the only thing that is constant in life is change. And change is inevitable. A person who resists it can never succeed.

When and where it happened?
However, I was unaware about this fact when I was quite young. It was the time when we had to migrate from Meerut to Delhi due to my father’s transfer.

What happened and how you felt about it?

Honestly, I felt completely devastated. We shifted when I was in grade 7, I had a strong bond and a friendship of 5 long years with my best friend Samantha. And this was the toughest part- the separation. We always knew that my father had a transferable job. But maybe I was too young to adapt to it and it was the longest we lived at a place for five consecutive years which made me feel so.

And explain how it changed your life in good ways.
So initially I resisted and was reluctant to accept the change. Later I realised over the years how important it was for us to shift to a city. Meerut is a small town where surely we were happy but Delhi had a lot to give us in terms of facilities, lifestyle, better schools and job opportunities and somewhere our life got better here. So, I am indeed grateful to god for this positive change.
