Describe a time when you were asked to give your opinion in a questionnaire or survey

I remember when I was in college, my juniors were assigned a project where they had to do an analysis on the basis of a certain survey they had to conduct. The survey was related to the development of our college and we being the students of the same college knew what improvements could be made so that it is for the good of all students and staff. It had questions pertaining to the hygiene level of canteen, cleanliness, college societies, fests, quality of furniture, et cetera. In total, there were about 28 questions, out of which approximately 20 questions were objective questions which required us to answer in ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, rest 8 questions were all subjective where we had to give our opinions and viewpoints.

I remember how I spent good amount of time filling this survey because it gave me a feeling of being more responsible towards my college. My opinions were based on my experiences in the college, and I expressed how the college lawn needed maintenance along with the societies being allotted separate rooms so that they could hold their meetings rather than conducting them in the corridor where there is a lot of disturbance. I also gave my opinions on other related questions asked in the questionnaire.

I really felt very nice after giving my opinions about this as it gave me a feeling of self satisfaction that I was contributing towards the development of something good. I could voice my opinions for the betterment of my college which made me fully content and satisfied.
